This ongoing photo series explores how the coronavirus pandemic has profoundly disrupted and reshaped the lives of athletes.
As the designer, my task was to craft a cohesive visual aesthetic for the series, with particular emphasis on optimizing the navigation experience for fans as they move between each gallery. I was also in charge of designing and animating the social graphics.

For the Resilient Athletes series, I created an Instagram story animation highlighting Annalise Newman-Achee, a 14-year-old junior elite gymnast. The story focused on her performance at the KPAC Cup, which was abruptly canceled after Day 1, leaving her to compete in an empty gym. Using smooth transitions and text, the animation captured her isolation and resilience as she trained at home in her Brooklyn brownstone during the pandemic. This Instagram story asset demonstrates my ability to translate a full, emotional story into a concise format for social media, driving viewers to explore the complete narrative on other platforms. It showcases my strength in creating engaging content that enhances storytelling while encouraging deeper engagement with the full story.
